First Night Celebration in USA

First Night is a New Year celebration that takes place in America. It is a North American artistic and cultural celebration on New Year’s Eve, taking place from afternoon until 12 at night.¬†First Night celebrations are actually held on the last night of the old year.

At some cities different events are organised outside, but some cities have events hosted indoors, such as churches and theaters. First Night celebrates a community’s local culture, often featuring music, dance, comedy, art, fireworks and in some cities, ice sculptures and parades.
