Bangkok – Thailand New Year Fireworks 2018

Just like many other parts in the world, people of Thailand also celebrate Gregorian New Year on 1st January however the celebrations are grand for the Thai New Year (Songkran) with generally takes place between 13 to 15 April.

Bangkok is one of the liveliest cities in Thailand and it celebrates New Year in grand manner. The main New Year fireworks displace takes place outside the Central World Mall where towering over the square is a 69-foot greeting ball tower from where at the stroke of midnight, a large ball drops, similar to New York’s Times Square tradition.
